2) R.E.M. - Everybody hurts
3) Radiohead - Just
4) White Stripes - Blue Orchid

1) The Beatles - Hey Bulldog
O baixo bem agudo, herdado do Joy Division, faz a música ficar estranhamente dançante:
2) The Smiths - Barbarism begins at home
3) The Cure - Lovesong

1) The Beatles - I am the walrus
I am he
As you are he
As you are me
And we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun
See how they fly
I'm crying
Sitting on a cornflake
Waiting for the van to come
Corporation tee shirt
Stupid bloody tuesday
Man, you've been a naughty boy
You let your face grow long
I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Mister city
Policeman sitting
Pretty little
Policemen in the row
See how they fly like lucy in the sky
See how they run
I'm crying (4x)
I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Yellow matter custard
Dripping from a dead dog's eye
Crab a locker fishwife
Pornographic priestess
Boy, you've been a naughty girl
You let your knickers down
I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Sitting in an english garden, waiting for the sun
If the sun don't come you get a tan
From standing in the english rain
I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob
Expert texperts choking smokers
Don't you think the joker laughs at you?
See how they smile like pigs in a sty
See how they snide
I'm crying
Semolina pilchard
Climbing up the eiffel tower
Elementary penguin
Singin' hare krishna
Man, you should have seen them
Kicking Edgar Allan Poe
I am the eggman
They are the eggmen
I am the walrus
Goo goo g'joob
2) Pink Floyd - Let there be more light
Far, far, far away? Way
People heard him say? Say
I will find a way. Way
There will come a day? Day
Something will be done
Then at last the mighty ship
Descending on a point of flame
Made contact with the human race at Mildenhall
Now, now, now is the time? Time
Time to be, be, be aware
Carter's father saw it there
And knew the Rhull revealed to him
The living soul of Hereward the Wake
Oh, my, something in my eye? Eye
Something in the sky? Sky
Something there for me
The other lock rolled slowly back
The servicemen were heard to sign
For there revealed in flowing robes
Was Lucy in the sky
Oh, oh, did you ever know - know?
Never ever will they I'll say
Summoning his cosmic powers
And glowing slightly from his toes
His psychedelic emanations fly
3) Nick Drake - Riverman
Betty came by on her way
Said she had a word to say
About things today
And fallen leaves.
Said she hadn't heard the news
Hadn't had the time to choose
A way to lose
But she believes.
Going to see the river man
Going to tell him all I can
About the plan
For lilac time.
If he tells me all he knows
About the way his river flows
And all night shows
In summertime.
Betty said she prayed today
For the sky to blow away
Or maybe stay
She wasn't sure.
For when she thought of summer rain
Calling for her mind again
She lost the pain
And stayed for more.
Going to see the river man
Going to tell him all I can
About the ban
On feeling free.
If he tells me all he knows
About the way his river flows
I don't suppose
It's meant for me.
Oh, how they come and go
Oh, how they come and go
4) Radiohead - Paranoid Android
Please could you stop the noise, I'm trying to get some rest
From all the unborn chicken voices in my head
What's that...? (I may be paranoid, but not an android)
What's that...? (I may be paranoid, but not an android)
When I am king, you will be first against the wall
With your opinion which is of no consequence at all
What's that...? (I may be paranoid, but no android)
What's that...? (I may be paranoid, but no android)
Ambition makes you look pretty ugly
Kicking and squealing gucci little piggy
You don't remember
You don't remember
Why don't you remember my name?
Off with his head, man
Off with his head, man
Why don't you remember my name?
I guess he does....
Rain down, rain down
Come on rain down on me
From a great high
From a great high...high...
Rain down, rain down
Come on rain down on me
From a great high
From a great high... high...
Rain down, rain down
Come on rain down on me
That's it, sir
You're leaving
The crackle of pigskin
The dust and the screaming
The yuppies networking
The panic, the vomit
The panic, the vomit
God loves his children, God loves his children, yeah

30 Day Song Challenge - Parte I
Day 01 - your favorite song – The Long and Winding Road (The Beatles)
Day 02 - your least favorite song – É isso aí (Ana Carolina)
Day 03 - a song that makes you happy – I’ve got a feeling (The Beatles)
Day 04 - a song that makes you sad - Broken (S. Carey)
Day 05 - a song that reminds you of someone - Carousel (Iron & Wine)
Day 06 - a song that reminds you of somewhere – Such Great Heights (Iron & Wine)
Day 07 - a song that reminds you of a certain event – Jigsaw falling into place (Radiohead)
Day 08 - a song that you know all the words to – Fugitive Motel (Elbow)
Day 09 - a song that you can dance to – Virtual Insanity (Jamiroquai)
Day 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep - Cowboy (Portishead)

Playlist da semana
Músicas cujas letras valem a pena serem conhecidas - extremamente líricas.
1) Nick Drake - Day is done
When the day is done
Down to earth, then sinks the sun
Along with everything that was lost and won
When the day is done.
When the day is done,
Hope so much your race will be all run.
Then you find you jumped the gun,
Have to go back where you began,
When the day is done.
When the night is cold,
Some get by but some get old,
Just to show life's not made of gold -
When the night is cold.
When the bird has flown,
Got no-one to call your own,
Got no place to call your home -
When the bird has flown.
When the game's been fought,
You speed the ball across the court;
Lost much sooner than you would have thought.
Now the game's been fought.
When the party's through,
Seems so very sad for you...
Didn't do the things you meant to do:
Now there's no time to start anew,
Now the party's through.
When the day is done
Down to earth, then sinks the sun
Along with everything that was lost and won
When the day is done.
2) Radiohead - Fake plastic trees
Her green plastic watering can
For her fake Chinese rubber plant
In the fake plastic earth,
That she bought from a rubber man
In a town full of rubber plans
To get rid of itself,
It wears her out, it wears her out,
It wears her out, it wears her out.
She lives with a broken man,
A cracked polystyrene man
Who just crumbles and burns.
He used to do surgery
For girls in the eighties
But gravity always wins.
It wears him out, it wears him out,
It wears him out, it wears him out.
She looks like the real thing,
She tastes like the real thing:
My fake plastic love!
But I can't help the feeling,
I could blow through the ceiling
If I just turn and run...
It wears me out, it wears me out,
It wears me out, it wears me out.
If I could be who you wanted...!
If I could be who you wanted all the time,
All the time...
3) The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been -
Lives in a dream -
Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door -
Who is it for?
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear.
No one comes near.
Look at him working, darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there.
What does he care?
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name.
Nobody came.
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave -
No one was saved
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
4) The Smiths - Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me
Last night I dreamt
That somebody loved me.
No hope, no harm,
Just another false alarm...
Last night I felt:
Real arms around me.
No hope, no harm,
Just another false alarm...
So, tell me how long
Before the last one?
And tell me how long
Before the right one?
The story is old - I know,
But it goes on...
The story is old - I know,
But it goes on.
Hermes.

Now the game's been fought.
When the party's through,
Seems so very sad for you...
Didn't do the things you meant to do:
Now there's no time to start anew,
Now the party's through.
When the day is done
Down to earth, then sinks the sun
Along with everything that was lost and won
When the day is done.
2) Radiohead - Fake plastic trees
Her green plastic watering can
For her fake Chinese rubber plant
In the fake plastic earth,
That she bought from a rubber man
In a town full of rubber plans
To get rid of itself,
It wears her out, it wears her out,
It wears her out, it wears her out.
She lives with a broken man,
A cracked polystyrene man
Who just crumbles and burns.
He used to do surgery
For girls in the eighties
But gravity always wins.
It wears him out, it wears him out,
It wears him out, it wears him out.
She looks like the real thing,
She tastes like the real thing:
My fake plastic love!
But I can't help the feeling,
I could blow through the ceiling
If I just turn and run...
It wears me out, it wears me out,
It wears me out, it wears me out.
If I could be who you wanted...!
If I could be who you wanted all the time,
All the time...
3) The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been -
Lives in a dream -
Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door -
Who is it for?
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear.
No one comes near.
Look at him working, darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there.
What does he care?
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Ah, look at all the lonely people!
Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name.
Nobody came.
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave -
No one was saved
All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
4) The Smiths - Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me
Last night I dreamt
That somebody loved me.
No hope, no harm,
Just another false alarm...
Last night I felt:
Real arms around me.
No hope, no harm,
Just another false alarm...
So, tell me how long
Before the last one?
And tell me how long
Before the right one?
The story is old - I know,
But it goes on...
The story is old - I know,
But it goes on.
Hermes.
